Imperial topaz faceted, also known as precious topaz, has a golden-orange to pink tint and is the rarest color of topaz. The location of Ouro Preto in Brazil produces excellent specimens. Citrines are occasionally mistaken for topazes because of topaz's long affinity with the color yellow. Citrine, on the other hand, is a quartz, a different gem species. Topaz differs from citrine in terms of physical and optical qualities, most notably in terms of hardness and brilliance.
Origin: Brazil. Color: Golden-orange to a pink hue. Clarity: Opaque. Cut: Facets. Treatment: Untreated 100% Genuine Gemstone
