Bismuth is a crystalline white metal that is still solid at room temperature but can be melted quickly. When bismuth is molten, it organizes its molecules into quite intriguing structures when it cools. A crystal is formed when matter organizes its molecules into a more particular arrangement. The salt we add to our food organizes its molecules into microscopic tiny cubes, however, these cubes are a little tougher to notice after you've eaten them. Water can crystallize into the six-sided structures we know as snowflakes, although it is not wholly unique.

Origin: China. Color: Crystalline white. Clarity: Opaque. Cut: Facets. Treatment: Untreated 100% Genuine Gemstone
