DESIGN AWARDS : JCK New Delhi has announced a design award event to be held in conjunction with the show. The thee of the competition is "fusion jewellery: Contemporary design with an Indian touch". Commenting on the design Awards, Mike Allsopp, CCO Reed Exhibitions said, "The JCK Design Awards are an attempt to focus on the burgeoning Indian jewellery industry as well as position India on the global front as a unique design hub. The judging panel for the awards will comprise representatives from the Gold Souk, Vogue and Solitaire International, sponsors of the design awards and an industry veteran.

Prizes include a five-day trip to JCK Las Vegas and product showcases at the law Vegas event. Winners will be felicitated at an Awards Nite cum Fashion show to be held during JCK new Delhi.

Three weeks before JCK New Delhi, jewellery retailers and wholesalers across India will receive a special solitaire international supplement. The publication will contain profiles of select exhibitors at the show, helping visitors to ero in on their requirements and plan their schedule and appointments in advance.
