POLYGON GOES GLOBAL WITH NEW OFFICES IN DUBAI, INDIA AND CHINA
Polygon, the jewellery industrys largest business-to-business electronic network opened new offices in Dubai, Mumbai and Shenzhen, Chia, dubbing it the beginning of its global expansion', according to a press release. Polygon has a dominant position in the US market" noted Polygon chairman Jecques Voorhees. "By expanding globally we will be leveraging that position and bringing our expertise in online-market place to the emerging markets in the Middle East, India, Asia, Africa, and Russia as well as in other key regions" he added.

According to Harsh Sonawala, marketing executive, India's prominent position in the industry is what attracted Polygon to this region. Polygon India plan to adopt marketing strategies similar to those in the USA that is targeting fragmented retail jewellers. The Indian jewellery industry is vast and unorganized and Polygon aims to assemble jewellers by providing a platform for them to find each other. For now Polygons prime focus will be on Mumbai.
