Jewellex Trade Fair: The premier event, of the South African diamond, jewellery and watch indus~s the annual Jewellex Trade Fair, organized by the Jewellery Council of South Africa.

In 2003-04 South Africa has stolen a march over Switzerland and UAE to become the major supplier of gold to India, the biggest consumer of the yellow metal in the world, mainly for jewellery.
